Addiction is a chronic medical disease that can, and must be managed. There is no cure, but just like other chronic medical conditions, it can be treated and controlled. Taking the first steps requires courage. Addiction Patch Protocol offers a comprehensive, science-based alcohol and drug treatment program designed to help and heal both the mind and the body. Our unique approach begins by addressing vitamin and nutrient deficiencies, electrolyte abnormalities, sleep disturbances, and providing a safe and comfortable outpatient alcohol detoxification. Co-morbid anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders will be addressed. We then provide a compounded implant of an FDA approved medication that serves to significantly reduce or eliminate the cravings for alcohol or drugs for an extended period of time. By eliminating the cravings, patients are able to refocus their energy and effectively benefit from our individually tailored, one-on-one counseling/recovery coaching program. Throughout the course of this program triggers are identified, behaviors are modified, and support networks are established and fortified. We adhere to the highest level of confidentiality throughout our patients’ entire treatment process. This is truly a private program.

The Innovative Naltrexone Implant
In most cases, our science-based recovery program utilizes the FDA-approved Naltrexone drug, which removes the euphoria, reinforcing effects, and physical cravings associated with alcohol consumption and opiate use. This quick outpatient procedure immediately begins to reduce the cravings for alcohol and opiates. The Naltrexone implant slowly releases the medicine into the body for up to 6 months or longer, in most patients, depending on individual characteristics and metabolism. Once the physical cravings for the abused substance is suppressed, patients are able to focus on their mental, emotional, and spiritual healing in order to successfully achieve a safe and sober lifestyle. This minimally-invasive outpatient procedure is performed by a board certified and trained surgeon in his surgical suite, requiring only local anesthetic, and takes 15 to 20 minutes. Specifically formulated and biodegradable, the implant is inserted just beneath the skin in the lower abdominal area. More importantly, within hours of receiving the Naltrexone implant, many patients report feeling complete freedom from cravings. Most individuals are able to return to work the following day. Only the people with whom you wish to share know that you are enrolled in a rehab program.

One-on-One Alcohol and Drug Counseling/Recovery Coaching Program:
Tailored specifically for helping each individual’s mental and spiritual recovery from addiction, the Recovery Coaching Program is designed to assist with adjusting to a drug and alcohol-free life and traveling the pathway to a successfully rehabilitated state. At Addiction Patch Protocol, we employ experienced and licensed drug and alcohol counselors/ recovery coaches that will continue to support each patient’s progress for many months following their procedure. As the intense and burdensome cravings are curbed, our patients are receptive and ready to effectively focus on identifying and managing triggers, isolate and replace destructive thought patterns, and modify unhealthy behaviors. Understanding that most people have busy lives with many responsibilities, these private and personal sessions can be done in person, over the phone, or via skype (whichever is most convenient for the patient, although we encourage face-to-face sessions). We help create and encourage participation in a support network in which the patient is most comfortable. Our treatment experience has shown that those patients who commit to and complete this science-based, comprehensive program have a high chance of lasting and durable recovery!
